Atmanirbhar Gram Parishad- Hingoli

We organize an annual event, Atmanirbhar Gram Parishad in Hingoli, focused on educating farmers about agricultural development and promoting organic farming. Through this event, we raise awareness about sustainable practices, encouraging farmers to adopt eco-friendly techniques such as using organic fertilizers and natural pest control methods. Our goal is to empower farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to enhance productivity while preserving the environment for future generations.

Janmashtami

We joyfully celebrate Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, renowned for his deep love for cows in mythology. This sacred occasion allows us to seek Krishna’s blessings and honor the divine bond between him and cows. Our celebrations also serve as a platform to promote reverence for cows and raise awareness about their cultural and spiritual significance, fostering a deeper respect for these sacred animals in our community.

Gopashtami

Every year, we joyfully celebrate Gopashtami on the auspicious Shukla Ashtami of Kartik month, honoring Lord Krishna and sacred cows. This day marks the moment when Nanda Maharaj entrusted Krishna with the responsibility of caring for cows, and it also commemorates Krishna’s heroic act of lifting Govardhan Parvat to protect cows and villagers from Lord Indra’s wrath. We perform puja, worship Lord Krishna and the cows, seeking their blessings and expressing heartfelt gratitude for their divine presence in our lives.

Vasubaras

Govatsa Dwadashi, popularly known as Vasu Baras in Maharashtra, is celebrated in our goshala to mark the beginning of Diwali, observed with purity by women. On this auspicious day, cows and calves are worshipped by bathing them, adorning them with clothes, decorating them, and performing aarti. This festival is a heartfelt thanksgiving, honoring cows for their vital role in human life, equating them to human mothers, as they selflessly sacrifice for the well-being of humanity.

Pola

We also celebrate Pola every year through our organization. Pola is a festival observed by farmers in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh to express gratitude for bulls and oxen, recognizing their crucial role in agriculture. Celebrated on Pithori Amavasya in the month of Shraavana, it honors the hardworking animals that support farming activities. On this special day, we also pray to Hanuman ji at the Hanuman Mandir, seeking his blessings for strength and prosperity in our endeavors.
